Celebration is finally here! Although it's only Tuesday, many fans from around the galaxy have made the trip out to Anaheim, California early! Who can blame them? Many of the celebrities and guests come early to get settled in for their upcoming 4-day con.
I arrived in Anaheim this afternoon and thought I would take a stroll around the Anaheim Convention Center to see what I could scope out in advance. One of the first things I saw was the MASSIVE Star Wars Celebration Anaheim banner hanging on the front of the building. You can't miss it!
In addition to the banner, I saw Star Wars fans flooding the hotel! It was definitely nice to be surrounded again by the people who totally "get it"! Even the international folks had a presence! As I made my way around the convention center, I saw someone out in the distance. From behind, I couldn't quite make out who it was. I got closer and it finally hit me! "David!" I screamed. David Collins was wandering around the convention center as well! David was heading inside to work on a rehearsal for this weekend, but he was nice enough to stop a take a quick selfie with me. I didn't want to keep him too long, as he is the host for the digital stage this weekend.

By this time, the doors were open for will call and my party and I wanted to make sure we were able to get our tickets before the line got too long. As we speed walked to will call, I saw another familiar face. Andi Gutierrez was there with what looked like a film crew! I can only imagine they were filming something for Starwars.com. Andi is the host of a small recap show called Rebels Recon. The Rebels Recon segment was posted on Starwars.com every week following the latest episode of Rebels. Andi provides us with celebrity interviews, questions with Pablo Hidalgo and summaries of the latest Star Wars: Rebels episode! I asked for a quick picture and Andi was nice enough to oblige!

Although the convention doesn't officially kickoff until Thursday morning, many fans are out and about in Anaheim! Not to mention, you never know who you might bump into walking around on the convention center grounds! Also, tonight, the Los Angeles Dodgers celebrate Star Wars at the ballpark against the Seattle Mariners! Make sure you tune in to the game to catch a glimpse of Star Wars characters roaming around!
